Darrell Pauley, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Pauley joined the PCAOB after serving more than 30 years with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He was an officer of the Board for most of that time, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. Among his key roles at the Fed, Mr. Pauley was Deputy Director of the Management Division, which directed the Board’s internal management functions. He also had led and directed activities in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, information technology, human resources, and the reengineering of business processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency. Mr. Pauley also directed the Fed’s effort to comply voluntarily with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He is a CPA and earned his BBA in Finance and Economics from Marshall University.
